Über Deine Rolle

Als Praktikan/in – Business Operations bei Five Glaciers Consulting erhältst Du tiefe Einblicke in die internen Strukturen und Abläufe eines dynamisch wachsenden Beratungsunternehmens im Nachhaltigkeitsbereich. Du arbeitest eng mit den beiden Gründern  zusammen und wirst aktiv in strategische und operative Fragestellungen eingebunden.

Deine Aufgaben sind vielseitig und können – je nach Interessen und Fähigkeiten – unter anderem folgende Bereiche umfassen:

• Unterstützung im operativen Tagesgeschäft, z. B. bei Angebotsprozessen, CRM-Pflege, Recherchen und interner Koordination
• Mitgestaltung und Optimierung interner Prozesse (z. B. Projektcontrolling, Qualitätssicherung, Wissensmanagement)
• Erstellung von Entscheidungsvorlagen, Präsentationen und operativen Auswertungen für die Geschäftsführung
• Vorbereitung und Begleitung von Strategie- und Teamentwicklungsmaßnahmen
• Mitarbeit in der Business-Development- und Außenkommunikation (z. B. LinkedIn, Website, Netzwerkformate)
• Unterstützung bei der Analyse regulatorischer Entwicklungen und deren operativer Relevanz für das Unternehmen

• Immatrikuliert oder mit abgeschlossenem Studium in einem relevanten Fachbereich (z. B. Wirtschafts-, Sozial- oder Umweltwissenschaften)
• Ausgeprägtes Organisationstalent und strukturierte, selbstständige Arbeitsweise
• Interesse an Nachhaltigkeitsthemen und daran, die internen Hebel eines Beratungsunternehmens kennenzulernen
• Erste Erfahrungen im Bereich Operations, Start-up-Umfeld oder Projektarbeit sind ein Plus
• Sicherer Umgang mit digitalen Tools (z. B. MS Office, ggf. Notion, HubSpot, etc.)
• Sehr gute schriftliche und mündliche Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in Deutsch, gute Englischkenntnisse
• Freude daran, in einem agilen Umfeld Verantwortung zu übernehmen und aktiv mitzugestalten

Based on your interests and knowledge, we offer you the opportunity to get to know sustainability consulting from strategy development to implementation. You will take on the following diverse tasks:

• You will work on the creation of ESG, decarbonization and climate strategies, including the development of digital solutions for strategy implementation.
• You will develop market analyses, benchmark analyses and innovative business models in the areas of climate management.
• Analysis of regulatory requirements for non-financial reporting, including materiality analyses.
• Collection of sustainability KPIs for the preparation of sustainability reports and non-financial statements in the context of the CSRD & GHG Protocol.
• You support the team in implementing measures to improve and further develop the topic of sustainability.
• You will help to draw up carbon footprints and support the development and implementation of measures.

• You are already in your Master's degree or in the last two semesters of a Bachelor's degree program with a corresponding focus
• Ideally initial practical experience and theoretical knowledge in the field of sustainability and/or climate change, initial experience in project management is an advantage
• Confident handling of common IT applications, in particular MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Very good analytical skills, quick perception and creative thinking as well as independent work and team spirit
• Very good communication skills in German and English
• Interest in both sustainability issues and consulting

Based on your interests and knowledge, you will learn about sustainability strategies in the areas of climate protection and ESG and take on the following diverse tasks:

• You will support our consulting projects on topics such as the EU taxonomy, CSRD (reporting framework), climate management and sustainable supply chains.
• You analyze overarching organizational structures, regulatory requirements and implications for sustainability strategies and goals.
• You will help the team to carry out tasks in consulting projects and communicate with our clients.
• In the area of climate management, you will help with the balancing of greenhouse gases and support the development of reduction strategies.
• You implement strategies and support the development of sustainable non-financial reporting.
• You will be involved in your own company development, e.g. by analyzing markets, developing consulting offers and cooperating with our large network in the sustainability world.

• You are enrolled in the fields of economics, engineering, natural sciences or social sciences, ideally with a focus on sustainability, sustainable finance, climate, circular economy or human rights.
• Ideally, you have some practical experience in the field of sustainability or in start-ups from internships and/or working student activities.
• Basic knowledge of common standards and requirements (e.g. CSRD, GRI, GHG protocol, EU taxonomy and/or others) is a plus.
• Confident handling of the common MS Office applications.
• You have a very good command of German and English.
• You want to have an impact on the sustainability of companies.
